Emma Watson outlines contingency plans for 8 scenarios that could disrupt a photo shoot:
1) If the model is ill, she will reschedule or find a last-minute replacement to avoid wasting a day.
2) If the model forgets clothes, she will bring extras and remind the model of the planned attire.
3) If it rains, she will move indoors or experiment with outdoor rain photos while protecting her camera.
4) She will carry spare batteries to avoid delays if her camera dies.
2. Scenario 1: Model is ill
If my model is ill I will organise a different day to take
photos of them. However, I will try and get a last
minute model to take photos for that day so that I
dont have a wasted day.
Scenario 2: Model forgets clothes
I will bring clothes in my bag that the model can
change in to such as a checked shirt, black leggings ,
black shirt. However, I will make sure to remind the
model on the day to wear the clothes they need to
wear.
3. Scenario 3: Its raining
If it is raining I will change my location to indoors so
that a day is not wasted. However, I may also
experiment with taking photos in the rain and have an
umbrella covering my camera.
Scenario 4: Camera dies
Make sure to carry spare batteries so that if the
camera dies I can just change the batteries and
continue on.
Scenario 5: I lose all my images
I will retake my images and it should be a shorter
process as I will know what works and what doesnt.
But afterwards I will make sure to have multiple back
ups of my images.
4. Scenario 6: The Indesign doesnt work
I will find other work to do such as editing photos. Do
something that is practical and productive and wont
make me behind.
Scenario 7: My chosen font isnt on Indesign
I will try and find a different font that is similar to the
original font I wanted to use or see if there is a way I
can download my font and put it on Indesign
Scenario 8: The equipment gets stolen
Explain to the people I borrowed it from and offer
compensation. I will then report it to the police and
not go to that area again. I will also borrow
equipment from someone else and be extra careful
with it.
