This document provides guidelines for using contractions in short answers and sentences. It states that contractions should not be used in positive short answers but can be used in negative short answers. Only the verb "are" should be contracted when used with "we", "you", or "they". The contraction "it's" should not be used at the end of a sentence, only "is it".
