The document summarizes an eco-friendly fashion show hosted by the University of Rhode Island's Fashion Merchandising Society. Corey Davis, who has a passion for reconstructing apparel in unique ways using various textiles, won "Most Likely to Succeed" for two dresses constructed from recycled, unwanted clothing items. The dresses incorporated jersey, swimwear, curtain, and blouse fabrics hand-sewn together.
2. I have a passion for the reconstruction and renewal of
apparel. My eye for the juxtaposition of various textiles,
patterns and colors in an unique way is one of my strongest
skills. Being that I am environmentally conscious, I enjoy
the re-use and renovation of apparel to maximize fabric life
and creativity.
