The coronavirus outbreak was declared a global pandemic by the World Health Organization (WHO) on 11 March. This is when an infectious disease is passing easily from person to person in many parts of the world at the same time.

whereas the other 3 patients came from

This brings the total number of cases to 13
in Sindh out of which 1 has been cured
and discharged. 12 in isolation.

Health Department has a new cases of Corona
Virus in Karachi. The patient arrived from Saudi
Arab a few days back and was tested positive
today.
Sindh Health Department has a new cases of
Corona Virus in Karachi. The 20 year old patient
has no travel history however the patients
father returned from UK recently. This brings the
total number of cases to 17 in Sindh.

Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah taking policy
decision has decided to close all the shrines, marriage lawns
and cinema halls would remain closed and educational
process in maddras, training institutions, marriage functions
in clubs and public gatherings, including urs of saintly
people would also remain suspended for a period of three
weeks till April 5.
All Divisional Commissioners orders to seal marriages hall
and hotels.

which 2 have recovered & 101 are still under

14. 17.03.2020
GROCERY, FISH, CHICKEN, MILK, VEGETABLE SHOPS TO REMAIN OPEN
Murad decides to close shopping malls, restaurants, Govt offices, public parks to
stop spreading of coronavirus. All divisional commissioners issued notifications.
Another important decision taken by the chief minister was to close inter-city
bus service from Friday (20th March). There are two days to the visitors to
return their respective homes/cities and after that all the inter-city buses would
be stopped from plying on their routes. However, intra-city bus service would
continue as usual.
The chief minister was told that in Karachi total 501 tests were conducted, of
them 463 turned out to be negative while 38 diagnosed as positive.
274 samples of pilgrims living at Sukkur were also tested out of which 140
declared as negative while 134 has been diagnosed as positive.
In this way total cases in Sindh has reached to 173.
15. 18.03.2020
Sindh-wide tally of coronavirus cases rises to 181. CM Sindh Murad Ali Shah
New batch: Commissioner Sukkur Shafiq Mahesar told the chief minister that
757 pilgrims from Tafatan have arrived at Sukkur in 18 buses and they all have
been sent to their rooms where fruits, water had already been placed. The
chief minister told the commissioner to start collecting their samples and send
them to Karachi for test.

4 NEW CASES, SOCIAL CONTACT CASES RISE TO 40.
CM Murad Ali shah releases Rs7.21bn to comb, contain coronavirus.
New Pilgrims: The chief minister was told that 757 new pilgrims from
Taftan have reached: The commissioner said that so far 180 samples
of newly arrived pilgrims have been taken and sent to Karachi for test.
Another batch of 88 pilgrims Taftan have reached Larkana and have
been kept in isloaltion Centre set up at Shaheed Mohterma Benazir
Bhutto University, Airja campus, Larkana. The chief minister directed
health department to send them swabs and kits to test the pilgrims.
COVID-19: The chief minister was told that four new cases have been
diagnosed in Karachi.
There are 66 patients in Karachi, including one in Hyderabad and 151
in Sukkur.
The locally transmitted cases have reached to 40.
The tally of coronavirous cases has risen to 217 in the province.

CM Sindh Murad Ali Shah announces complete lockdown
for next 15 days all over Sindh.
In a video massage he said I have no option but to save
people of Sindh from this endemic.
Before announcement he meets with political leaders of
