- 35. But, one of the biggest reasons I loved it was because
- 36. the students were so diverse.
- 37. Sometimes I wondered who learned more,
- 38. them about the math,
- 39. or me about the world?
- 40. After College
- 41. I worked for
- 42. I was an instructional designer,

- 49. word But, I missed my experience teaching at General College.
- 50. So, after 4 years at PLATO
- 51. I made the tough decision
- 52. to pursue my passion for teaching.
- 53. I started by volunteering in schools,
- 54. which opened the door to my current position
- 55. teaching math intervention to 7 th , 8 th , and 9 th graders.
- 56. Its been a tough, yet very rewarding experience.
- 57. But sadly, my position was only temporary,
- 58. which is why I am applying for this math instructor position.
