have the capacity for.

Einsteins creativity was a natural result of years
of work, his environment and his social group.
19. OK.
So what do
we actually
know about
creativity?
ITS SOCIAL.
We increase our creative ability by learning from
others, collaborating and sharing.
IT REQUIRES CULTURAL LITERACY.
We must understand what people find meaningful
what truly matters to people.
ITS ALL ABOUT CREATING CONNECTIONS.
In your knowledge. In the way you think. In the way
you interact with others.
IT REQUIRES CURIOSITY.
A fixed mindset is the enemy of creative thinking.
IT IS SCARY.
We fear that we need to create something from
nothing. This creates a bias against creativity.
21. EXERCISE: Thirty Circles

innovation skills and capabilities are
not set in stone.
You need a growth mindset.
CREATIVITY IS LIKE A
MUSCLE.
29. Reframe.
WHAT IS A FRAME?
A belief about the world that colors your
interpretation of people and events.

structure our lives.

31. OFFLINE CHALLENGE:
ASK QUESTIONS
For one day this week, ask questions constantly
without pursuing their answers.
Ask questions, starting with Why? or What if?
Its not important WHAT you ask, simply THAT
you ask.
