Why Instrumental Music? • Looking for a Fine Arts credit?  Instrumental Music courses are a perfect fit! • Want to learn an instrument?  We offer multiple opportunities for beginning students! • Can’t quite figure out why a song sounds the way it does?  Playing an instrument can help unlock the questions you may have about music!
Courses Offered, Orchestra • Three levels • Concert Orchestra • Symphonic Orchestra • Chamber Orchestra
Courses Offered, Band • Cadet Band This class is for beginning students. Guidance will be given by the band directors about what instrument to try You must rent a musical instrument
Courses Offered, Intermediate Band • Intermediate Band • This course is for students with a prior background in band. Perhaps you didn’t do band this year, but would like to try now? Students must audition to be placed in Intermediate Band
Courses Offered, Advanced Band For musicians with advanced skill on a band instrument. Audition required for admission into Advanced Band
Courses Offered, Jazz Bands • We have two jazz bands  Chantilly Workshop Jazz – Intermediate Level  Chantilly Jazz – Advanced Level  In these bands, we have guitarists, bassists, drummers, and wind instruments and piano players! Wee!  Admission into these groups requires successful audition / participation in Marching Band
