Deepika has an engineering degree and works as a software engineer while continuing her music career. She has received several awards and recognition for her musical accomplishments and social work.

Biography Miss Deepika.T hails from a family musicians and music lovers. She started learning classical music from the tender age of 8. She also sings Carnatic and Hindustani Classical,Bollywood songs andEnglish pop songs. Deepika has completed her engineering in Electronics and Communication. And presently working as a software engineer in a Reputed IT Company. SOME FEATHERS IN DEEPIKAS CAP: 1) Won national Level Prizes and Scholarships for Carnatic and Hindustani Classical and light music organized by Various organizations. 2) Won Silver medal for National level Riffle shooting Competition. 3) VTU UNIVERSITY BLUE for art and culture. 4) Performing in Radio and Doordarshan 5) Given Vocals to the Hindi album Named "Tanha Tanha and Mujh main Kaheen 6)Given Vocals to International English Album Haiti we are there for you. 7) Presently Singing for Films and performing all around the world. 8)Judging musical Competitions at Various Platforms and Colleges like IIM Bangalore. 9) Nominated for YOUNG ACHIEVER AWARD, Karnataka. 10) Nominated for Asias Women of the year Award for the Year 2011 11)Winner of Karmaveer Puraskaar ( KVP) - National award for Social justice &Citizen Action.
