In this lesson, students from 2º Bachillerato will work in pairs to develop
their vocabulary to talk about the news. They will also be given the
opportunity to discuss the news with their classmates and retell a
newsworthy story that is important to them. Besides students will develop

2. PROYECT: TV PRESENTER
Objectives:
1 - To introduce educative applications to students.
2 - To make students get used to new technologies and Digital
Competence.
3 - To developed vocabulary related to news and give practice
of retelling the main points of a news story.
4 - To introduce students to English Newspaper reading and
writing.
5 - To promote linguistic compentence y Oral presentation.
3. Tasks
1- Check Youtube. Watch BBC Breanking News.
2 - Choose and read a piece of news from the Sur in English
newspaper.
3 - Choose, read and translate a piece of news from a
Spanish newspaper. Upload the translation to the blog.
4 - Create a newspaper page including the Spanish piece of
news using "Picktochart"
5 - Record the translated piece of news using "Audioboo"
6 - Record yourself using a smartphone or tablet telling the
piece of news you recorded in Audioboo using "Videolicious".
Upload it to the blog.
7 - Share your recording using dropbox.
8 - Choose one of your partner's work from dropbox and
translate it into Spanish.
9 - Write the title your Final task to the blog. Check the blog in
classroom to vote for best piece of news.
