What is a
Teacher?
A teacher should be professionally trained,
should be able to pass the required
examination, should be a master of the subject-
matter, should continue to grow and love his
profession, should be kind and sympathetic to
his pupil, and should process initiative and
resourcefulness.
A teacher is neat in appearance and orderly
in his teaching . A teacher is strict, but kind,
friendly , and approachable. A teacher is
enthusiastic, interesting, stimulating,
encouraging and has a sense of humor.
A teacher must use different methods and
techniques of teaching, adjusting them to the
degrees of physical and mental growth of the
pupils, and to the subject-matter under
consideration.
A teacher should recognize that the welfare
and interest of the child is the principal
objective of his profession. The teacher must
respect the individuality of each pupil and must
be welling and ready to accept and try to
understand their differences and strengths, as
well as their problems.
A teacher has to make her or his pupils of
whatever age respect, admire and love him or
her-not make fun of him or her. If the teacher
does not realize all this at the start, he or
shed better keep out of the teaching
profession.
The old saying that the teachers are born
and not made has just enough truth in it to
make it dangerous. A good teacher is not
necessarily one born with teaching instinct.
More likely she/he has been the product of
years effort.
I want to be a teacher
   because teaching is the
   noblest profession.
  -Wahing, Mary Lorelie-
I want to be a teacher
   because its my
   ambition.
-Ugsang, Mitchell-
I want to be a teacher
   because i wish to teach
   children.
-Pepito , Rica Joice-
