Antral is a voluntary organization in India that aims to empower disadvantaged children through alternative education and life skills. It was founded by individuals seeking to bridge gaps in society. Antral currently operates programs in Bihar and Jharkhand that serve about 40 children. Upcoming events organized by Antral include a handmade New Year card exhibition and past events include a 10km run called Eduthon held in 2011 to raise funds for Antral. Eduthon aimed to generate awareness and registrations from students, volunteers and organizations to support Antral's educational programs for underprivileged children.

What is Antral/爐爐爐むぐ爐鉦げ ? Antral is a voluntary organization registered under the Indian society Act 1860. The inception of Antral took place when few people, those who love to work with a vision to empower the disadvantaged children and self, came together. The word Antral means the existing gap in our society. We at Antral, have a vision to bridge this gap by creating an open platform which offers alternative education to the not-so-privileged children. The idea is to give each child a space where one can explore, identify his/her potential and become an independent learner. Thus, we see good life skills based education, not only as the fundamental right of every child but, also as the most potent means of creating an equitable society. Antral has already reached out to children in 2 places of India i.e. 2 (Darbhanga and Begusarai) in Bihar and in Jharkhand. There are about 40 children in both districts (Darbhanga and Begusarai). Everyone wondering to make a difference in the existing society. You can anytime come to Begusarai, Bihar unit to meet our children or take sessions with them on various topics. Our children would really be happy to meet new people encouraging and empowering them. Our past event & up coming event: Our past event was ANTARYATRA 2013, held in the rural sites of Bihar in the month of August with aim of understanding and learning from the rural India. Eduthon -2011 executed on nov 13th in G.Noida was also a great successful event. For getting full details of these past events and other events please follow our Facebook page. Up coming event: We are planning to organize a handmade New Year card exhibition in the last week of December to 1st week of January. What & why is this event EDUTHON? Eduthon-2011, A 10 K run organized in Greater Noida, by the students of Sriram Institute and DSF. To raise funds and create awareness for ANTRAL. DSF as it stands for Dream Sans Frontier is a students club at Sriram which has been initiated to bridge the gap between academia and the industry requirements by a group of students under the leadership of a young academician by name Rakesh Pandey. Through these initiatives, students are inculcated with all types of managerial skills through various activities. The event will create a buzz along with a target of 200 Registrations (Participants), 500 plus students and friends to volunteer and witness the event. A 10 KM run which will entertain participants who would want to run for a cause and inspiration of doing good to the society. And also for various projects and programs like Creative Learning Space for tribal children, Community development, Natural Farming, Skills development program and awareness campaign about child sexual abuse.Who all can participate? Students from schools, Graduate and Post graduate colleges. Families, Teachers, Sports associations, Organizations who are seeking CSR activities. Date: 17th November 2011, 7.00 A.M. Track: The Exact track is not been finalized yet, the location would be Knowledge Park-II, around the premises of SRIRAM Institute.
