- #3: -I have a phobia of answering phones; should I interrupt what I’m doing in order to answer? How will I know if I’m going to talk to them later? Most phone calls are unplanned, and unless you are expecting something, MEH, - -Voicemail has been consistent since its inception; what started out as a small machine in which you had to record messages via casettes became a clunky old system (I don’t check my voicemail, and you probably don’t either)
