Our mission is to help families caring for children recovering from life saving organ and tissue transplants return to high quality lives through innovative techniques and enhanced organ donation awareness. A camp is proposed to help teens and children deal with the challenges of their transplants in honor of their donor families. The three-day Educational Post-transplant Intervention Camp will be held June 5-7, 2009 at Camp Joy and aims to support up to 200 children for $250 each and 50 parents for $120 each, with a fundraising goal of $20,000. Various forms of support are requested to help make the camp possible.
