Several students from Burgess Primary School received external awards for their accomplishments in dance, chess, gymnastics, swimming, and baseball. A girl from year 5 passed her dance exam and was confident she did well. A boy from year 5 won all his matches at a chess tournament. Another year 5 girl won a silver medal in a gymnastics and dance competition after working hard all year.

- 3. Burgess This girl from 5I has done her dance exam, even though she hasn¡¯t had her results yet, she is very positive that she has passed and did well. She did it on the 20th of October 2018. She is very proud.
- 4. Burgess This boy went to a chess tournament for cubs and won all his matches and got joint 1st.
- 5. Burgess This 5I girl has won a medal for coming second in a gymnastics and dance competition and has worked towards it all year.

- 11. Tudor This 6B child has been awarded the under 11¡¯s batter of the year. She has worked really hard towards this, this year.
- 12. Tudor This 6B girl came 1st in the WHOLE region in gymnastics. She has worked towards this competition for all year.
