At FoodSavvi We 're building a mobile applications platform and database that lets restaurants publish their best dishes.
FoodSavvi changes that by empowering restaurants to make great impressions.
We're building a platform that helps restaurants publish their best dishes.
We categorize those dishes based on location, unique tastes, and food restriction, like food allergies.
We take all that data and make it available via an API, we build our own food discovery app on top of that data
And we make the API available to other web and mobile applications developers.
Or MOGLs restaurant loyalty program showing what is great to eat at all of their participating restaurants.
As consumers interact with all this data by liking and disliking dishes, and adding dish recommendations of their own, we take all that interaction and make it available to the restaurants through our analytics platform. It's like the Lean Restaurant Feedback Loop!
Currently Restaurants spend over 5 Billion dollars on marketing online, and that number is going up every year as restaurants learn to market more effectively.
Our model is a freemium model where we give all restaurants access to publish dishes free, and we charge a premium subscription of $100 per month for access to analytics, marketing tools, and a promotions engine that lets them target new and existing customers.
We group our competitors into 2 categories:
Consumer empowering review sites
and Restaurant empowering tool providers.
By providing the restaurants a tool to help them market their best dishes and then making that available to all these competitors, we essentially turn our competitors into a customer.
