This document outlines the syllabus and exam format for Form 3 science in Malaysia. It includes 10 chapters that will be covered: respiration, blood circulation and transport, excretion, reproduction, growth, land and its resources, electricity, generation of electricity, stars and galaxies, and space exploration. The exam consists of two papers - a 1 hour objective paper worth 40 marks and a 1.5 hour subjective paper worth 60 marks. It also provides guidelines for the PEKA (practical work) file and lists required textbooks and materials. Students are directed to resources for notes and updates online and guidelines for printing and filing the notes.

PAPER 1 •  40 Objective Questions •  40 Marks •  1 hour paper •  20 simple questions •  12 moderate questions •  8 difficult questions PMR SCIENCE FORMAT PAPER 2 •  8 Subjective Questions •  60 marks •  1 ½ hour paper •  30 easy scores •  18 moderate scores •  12 difficult scores
PEKA FILE •  F1 : 2 Reports •  F2 : 3 Reports •  F3 : 1 Report •  All must be completed before June •  All evidence must be written with dates, name, title and class PMR SCIENCE FORMAT •  Reports must be on A4 size paper (Test pad for Report, Plain paper for drawing & Graph paper for graph or charts) •  Drawing & labelling must be using pencil
• 1 Management file for the filing of printed Notes • 1 Long Book for Exercises • Reference book • Text Book • PEKA Book • Graph Paper • A4 paper ‘MUST HAVE’ BOOKS
