QUARTER AT A GLANCE.
GIRL ASPIRE PROJECT
To commemorate the International Day of the Girl Child which fell on the 11th of October,
The HuD Group Ghana in partnership with EPP Books Services and Literamed Publications
Ltd, with support from the Ashaiman Municipality’s GES Girls Education Unit held the
Girl Aspire Boot Camp for 100 girls from various basic schools in the municipality. The
camp was held on Friday, 9th October at the St. Augustine’s Catholic Church, Ashaiman.
To mark the event, Affi Agbenyo (Head of Mentoring Programs at The HuD Group), Jean
Marie and Huberta Seyram Senyo were on the Morning Star at Starr 103.5 FM to promote
the program.

PEOPLE DEVELOPMENT SESSIONS
MONTHLY HuDdles
We began the month with our monthly HuDdle where we had the honour of hosting
leading lady Yawa Hansen-Quao (Founding Partner of HQ Consulting) on the 4th of
October at the monthly Family HuDdle which seeks to add significant value to the personal
development of our members, partners and associates. Yawa led an inspirational segment,
speaking on the topic “Building Self-confidence and Assertiveness.” The empowerment
segment was led by Dr. William Okyere-Frempong (CSO, The HuD Group Ghana) who
took participants through the first two Laws of Leadership from the book “The 21 Laws of
Leadership” by John C. Maxwell.
November 1, being the first Sunday of the month saw the HuD Group putting together
another awesome time with the family together at the re-launched Monthly HuDdles. This
month featured Mr. David K. Sakyi, (CEO, KD Group Global) as the inspirational model for
the HuDdle. A renowned Life Coach and Professional Photographer, Mr. David Kwaku
Sakyi, took the HuD Group family through an awe inspiring moment speaking on
“Turning Passion into Pay: My Entrepreneurial Strides” while Ing. Odasani D'Giorgio,
facilitating the empowerment segment took the family through the 3rd to the 7th Irrefutable

Laws of Leadership taken from John Maxwell’s book “The 21 Laws of Leadership" HuDdles
Worldwide.
On the 12th of December, The HuD Group Ghana organized its annual Thanksgiving
HuDdle dubbed “The Big HuDdle” at the Legon Hall garden, University of Ghana. The
guest speaker, Dr. Yaw Perbi (Global CEO HuD Group) delivered a speech on “Finishing
Strong” during which he enumerated two points essential to achieving this goal; “reading
your Bible and Praying every day” and “having an Accountability Friend”. He also ushered
the Group into a year of BusinesSense in 2016 challenging members, associates and partners
alike to adopt and inculcate the “Seriousness”, “Smartness”, “Effectiveness”, “Efficiency”
and “Profitability” of business people in every aspect of our lives.
EXECUTIVE RETREAT
On the 19th and 20th of December, The Leadership of Thehudgroup Ghana held its end of
year Executive Retreat at the Lou Ralph Hotel which saw Bernard Kelvin Clive delivering a
presentation on “Digital Publishing and Podcasting” after a welcome address from the
CSO, Dr. William Okyere-Frempong, who also led a presentation on “Put your dreams to
the Test”. A presentation on “Building a World-class Firm was also delivered by Mr. Ekow

Mensah. The Leadership was also treated to a graphic presentation of “Good to Great” by
Jim Collins.
MISSIONS & MINISTRY
Ebenezer Baptist Church
The Ebenezer Baptist Church, Teshie-Nungua Estates hosted the CSO of The HuD Group,
Dr. William Okyere-Frempong at their Sunday church service on the 18th of October where
he shared a message entitled “Walk on Water,” with Scriptural reference from the Gospel of
Matthew 14:22-33.
Apostolic Reformed Church
The Apostolic Reform Church, Tema-New Town hosted the CSO of The HuD Group
Ghana, Dr. William Okyere-Frempong at their service on the 11th of November. Dr.
Okyere-Frempong delivered a presentation on the topic “Going Global” to honour the
occasion.
Dr. William Okyere-Frempong (CSO, The HuD Group Ghana) was honoured to have been
hosted by the Ebenezer Baptist Church, Teshie-Nungua Estates at their Sunday church
service on the 29th of November. In addressing the congregation, Dr. Okyere-Frempong

delivered a sermon entitled “Doing Greater Works” taken from the John 14:12-14.
On December 25, Dr. William Okyere-Frempong was hosted to present God’s word in the
Christmas day service at the Ebenezer Baptist Church, Teshie-Nungua Estates. He
challenged congregants to be ready to be inconvenienced for the course of the gospel as
happened to the family of Christ at His birth.
EMERGING LEADERS OUTREACH
PSYCHO-POLITICAL SCIENCE LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE
On 16th October, the HuD team led Dr. William Okyere-Frempong was at the Psycho-
Political Science Leadership Conference. The conference organized by The HuD Group in
collaboration with the Psychology and Political Science Departments of the University of
Ghana. Facilitators from the HuD Group took participants through various personal
development sessions: CV Writing by Kwamina Sagu Ekremet, Purpose Discovery by
Margretta Morgan, Financial Whizzdom by David Mawutor Avor, Entrepreneurship by Dr.
Joe Amoah and Public Speaking by Kwaku Edem Damanka in smaller workshop groups.

BARCAMP ACCRA.
On December 19, Dr. William Okyere-Frempong, CSO The HuD Group Ghana facilitated a
speed mentoring session during the 2015 edition of the Barcamp Accra organized by the
GhanaThink Foundation at the Central Cafeteria, University of Ghana.
START RIGHT …END BIG
On 30th October 2015, The HuD Group Ghana in collaboration with the Counselling and
Placement Centre of the University of Ghana, with support from the University’s French
Club hosted this year’s edition of the Start Right End BIG Conference at the Maison
Francaise Conference Room. Mrs. Jocelene Buckman, the Director of the Counselling and
Placement Centre spoke in a plenary session on the topic Making Career Choices. This was
followed by workshop sessions on Financial Wisdom (with Avor David Mawutor), Time
Management (with Kwamina Sagu Ekremet), Leadership Essentials (with Kwaku Edem
Damanka), Personal Mission Statement (with Eric Acheampong) and Effective Studying
Skills (with Joe Amoah). Dr. William Okyere-Frempong delivered a second presentation on
“Becoming an Outstanding Student.”

YOUTH POWER FESTIVAL 2015
Ashanti Region Edition
On the 7th of November the YouthPower! Festival, Ashanti Region edition was at the
Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) Kumasi. The conference
which was held at the KNUST’s Faculty of Law auditorium saw Mr. Jeremiah Buabeng
(President, Matrix Institute), Dr. William Okyere-Frempong (CSO, The HuD Group) and
Mr. Terry Mante (Author) during the plenary segment delivering the following
presentations respectively; “Personal Leadership”, “Outclassing the Competition” and
“Building Self-Confidence”. A colloquium session moderated by Mr. Prince Boadu
(CEO,MapTech Logistics) had Miss Maajoa Asabea Yeboah (CEO, Director AA Brands), Mr.
Jeremiah Buabeng (President, Matix Institute) and Mr. Jonathan Adzokpe (Lecturer & CEO,
Hetura Books) share their thoughts on the topic “Leveraging New Media for Personal and
Business Promotion”. During the workshop segment the participants were divided into
various groups facilitated by Miss Maajoa Asabea Yeboah- “Talent Development”, Mr.
Terry Mante- “Public Speaking”, Mr. Jonathan Adzokpe- “Authorship and Publishing”
sand Mr. Prince Boadu- “Starting a Dream Business”.

Brong Ahafo Region Edition
On the 14th of November the YouthPower! Festival 2015 was in the Brong Ahafo region at
the College of Health, Kintampo to inspire and empower the young emerging Leaders of
the college. The first presentation of the plenary session was delivered by Mr. Michael
Kwame Ayirebii (CEO, Still Water Equity Partners) on the topic “Discovery and Pursuit of
Purpose”. He was followed by Mr. David Asare Asiamah (CEO, AgroMindset Group) who
delivered the second presentation on his entrepreneurial strides. Following the plenary
presentations was a colloquium moderated by Dr. William Okyere-Frempong (CSO, The
HuD Group Ghana) who hosted Dr. Samuel Tinagyei, Miss Maajoa Asabea Yeboah (CEO,
Director AA Brands) and Mr. David Asare Asiamah (CEO, AgroMindset Group) in
addressing the topic “Leveraging New Media for Personal and Business Promotion”.
During the workshop segment, the various groups were facilitated by Dr. Samuel Tinagyei
– “Financial Wisdom”, Mr. Gamel Sankarl – “Writing Clinic”, Dr. William Okyere-
Frempong – “Starting Your Dream Business”, Miss Maajoa Asabea Yeboah – “Talent
Development” and Captain Paolo Rossi Adu-Gyamfi Yeboah– “CV Writing” respectively.
The program officially hosted by Mr. Gamel Sankarl (master of ceremony for the day) was
brought to an end by the CSO of The HuD Group Ghana, Dr. William Okyere-Frempong
delivering a presentation on “Finishing Strong”.

Greater Accra Region Edition
November 21, saw the Accra edition of the YouthPower! Festival 2015, at the Sun Lodge
Hotel kicked off with a speed mentoring session during the early hours of the program. The
plenary session saw Miss Petra Aba Asamoah delivering the first presentation of the day on
“Positioning for Global Advantage”. Mr. Bernard Avle delivered the second presentation
entitled “Securing the Ghana We Deserve; The Role of Young Leaders”. These
presentations were followed by two colloquium sessions moderated by Jason Tutu of Zhest
Consult. During these two sessions, Mr. Ekow Mensah and Miss Maame Kate- shared their
thoughts and answered questions on “Starting My Dream Business”, while Mr. Mawuli
Tsik ata (New Media Manager, CitiFM), Mr. Klenam K?ku Fiadzoe (CEO, Tag Concepts),
Mr. Harold Ntorinkansah Jnr.(CEO, Technology Grace Ent.) and Gamel Sankarl (Author)
addressed the topic “Leveraging New Media for Personal and Business Promotion”. During
the workshop segment, participants of the conference were divided into six groups
facilitated by Mr. Albert Kusi (Founder LEC Foundation) - “Interview Skills”, Miss Naomi
Adjepong (O.M of Alpha Beta Education Centre) – “Public Speaking”, Paapa Akoto
Amoafo (Human Rights Advocate) – “CV Writing”, Gamel Sankarl (Author) – “Writing &
Publishing”, Mr. Ekow Mensah (SerialEntrepreneur) – “Start-up Financing” and Miss Kate
Nkansah-Maame Kate (M.D Zhest Consult) – “Proposal Writing” respectively. The
program interspaced by spoken word deliveries from Garmel Gamel Sankarl and Gombilla
Tofic Tofic Poet was professionally coordinated by Mr. Samuel Agyeman-Prempeh
(Author), master of ceremony. Mr. Jeremiah Buabeng (President, Matrix Institute) brought
the conference to a close with a very impactful presentation on “Personal Leadership”,
“Outclassing the Competition” and “Building Self-Confidence”.

BOOK LAUNCH
Thinking Outside The Window
On the 13th of December, the Global C.E.O of The HuD Group, Dr. Yaw Perbi launched his
tenth and latest book “Thinking Outside the Window” at the Legon Interdenominational
Church (LIC), University of Ghana. Mr. Bernard Koku Avle (Host Citi Breakfast Show) was
the master of ceremony for the launch.
Cheat on Fear
On the 20th of December, Dr. William Okyere-Frempong had the honour of auctioning the
first few copies of Richard Akita’s latest book “Cheat On Fear”. It was a time of inspiration
and love sharing.

The HuD Family welcomed two new HuDdlets in the second quarter. The Lord gifted the
family of Mr. Walter Awuah, Director of HuD Institute and wife Mrs. Miriam Awuah with
a beautiful baby girl- Gabrielle Sesinam Awurabena Awuah- on the 20th of October 2015.
Dr. Albert Hammond and wife Mrs. Sussana Hammond were also blessed with a beautiful
baby girl- Frances-Alberta Norley Keenor Hammond- on the 25th
of October 2015.

During the workshop segment, participants of the conference were divided into six groups facilitated by Mr. Albert Kusi (Founder LEC Foundation) - “Interview Skills”, Miss Naomi Adjepong (O.M of Alpha Beta Education Centre) – “Public Speaking”, Paapa Akoto Amoafo (Human Rights Advocate) – “CV Writing”, Gamel Sankarl (Author) – “Writing & Publishing”, Mr. Ekow Mensah (SerialEntrepreneur) – “Start-up Financing” and Miss Kate Nkansah-Maame Kate (M.D Zhest Consult) – “Proposal Writing” respectively. The program interspaced by spoken word deliveries from Garmel Gamel Sankarl and Gombilla Tofic Tofic Poet was professionally coordinated by Mr. Samuel Agyeman-Prempeh (Author), master of ceremony. Mr. Jeremiah Buabeng (President, Matrix Institute) brought the conference to a close with a very impactful presentation on “Personal Leadership”, “Outclassing the Competition” and “Building Self-Confidence”.

Mr. Bernard Koku Avle (Host Citi Breakfast Show) was the master of ceremony for the launch. Cheat on Fear On the 20th of December, Dr. William Okyere-Frempong had the honour of auctioning the first few copies of Richard Akita’s latest book “Cheat On Fear”. It was a time of inspiration and love sharing.
