 Promotes Gatorades sports drink to reader
 Depicts basketball player Dwane Wade playing

 The use of different cameras give the ad different
  depth and more than one angle for interpretation
 A close up of the bottle give the view a more
  detailed look at the product, which gives them
  the ability to practically read the label
 The full-body shot of Dwane Wade also gives the
  consumer the ability to see everything in the
  scene, from his feet to the netting of the hoop

 This also the ad a bit more action because it

 This ad makes the reader come to the
  conclusion that Dwane Wade has consumed
  this product.
 It also says that he may have had a few
  choices as to how he was going to hydrate for
  this game, and of course, he chose Gatorade
 The empty bottle promotes the idea that he
  has consumed the product to help him
  achieve his normal greatness
What does this ad say about the product?

 It shows that this drink is used to promote
  healthy hydration to help athletes achieve
  their best, no matter what sport they play.
 It also gives off the impression to the
  consumer if Dwane Wade drinks this and is
  able to do that, maybe I could do the same.
  obviously on a lower scale, but with the same
  concept in mind.

 Gatorade typically uses this type of format,
  with large white letters on a dark background
  with some type of famous athlete.
 Depending on the season, these ads can
  change because of the popular sport.
 For instance: Fall  football, world series
                Winter  basketball, hockey
               Spring  baseball, hockey playoffs
               Summer - baseball
Choices Made
 The size of the ad grabs the attention of the
  magazine reader because it forces them to, at
  least, scan the ad to continue their reading.
 The contrast between the colors of the
  background (dark) and the text, which reads
  Thats G (light) makes the text pop and
  creates a visually appealing contrast which
  draws in a person, even if theyre just
  skimming the magazine.
Who does this ad target?
 Its pretty easy to say that this ad is targeted
  towards athletes.
 It promotes the hydration and success of all
  athletes that strive to be like, specifically,
  Dwane Wade.
 Also targets young kids who strive to be like,
  or potentially play in the NBA or any
  professional sports league.
