The document discusses protecting the environment and biodiversity in Costa Rica. It notes that Costa Rica has over 850 species of birds, 130 species of fish, and 34,000 species of insects, yet people are increasingly hurting animals and not caring about conservation. The document interviews an expert at Zooave, a zoo that cares for endangered animals. The expert explains that the zoo's goal is to rehabilitate animals that can be released and breed those that cannot, to help protect species. They are working to pass stronger laws against animal abuse. [/SUMMARY]

whole planet.
We thing everything we have now is going to last forever...
7. Questions to the expert ??
For you is important to work in the Zooave?
He responded: Yes, because everything that we do in here comes
from our hearts. People donate animals that are in danger and we
take care of them, the releasable species we set them free and the
ones that can't be released we put them in big enclosures and we
look for mates so that they can reproduce and the ones that we
release are the animals broods.
Are you informed about the law of animal protection that they are
planning to create?
He responded: We, the Zooave are fighting a lot to achieve that they
approve this law. It would be great
8. Do you think everyone that works in here are very dedicated
to their work?
He responded: A lot, a lot. Because if it wasn't like that we
wouldn't have scars made it by the animals.
Are most of the species really aggressive?
He responded: Yes most of them, we have to be really
careful.
How many species do you have in the Zooave?
Approximately 14000.
9. Conclusion
Every day we saw on the news that terrible people hurt animals or hunt
them just for fun or because they just think about themselves and do
not care about the magnificent species that are all around the world.
The problem is that by the time passes there's less animals, and more
endangered species and more people that do not care at all. I went to
the Zooave to take pictures and to see the incredible species that
Costa Rica has. I search for information about the endangered
animals. Now I want to share this so that everybody that see it make
consciences and decide to share it to. Big thinks stared with little
ideas.
