The study investigated teachers' use of school libraries in Oman. It found that male teachers used the library more frequently than female teachers. The most commonly used library materials were books and newspapers. Teachers were generally satisfied with available resources but noted a lack of resources, especially in sciences and Arabic literature. Most resources were outdated. Teachers desired additional library services like information technology and audiovisual materials. A lack of orientation programs and computing facilities in libraries were also issues. The study concluded that Omani school libraries had low teacher usage due to shortages and outdated materials not aligned with curricula.
