Anabolic-androgenic steroids (AAS), also known as anabolic steroids, are a class of synthetic hormones that mimic the effects of testosterone. They are legally prescribed to treat conditions involving deficiency of steroid hormones, but are often misused recreationally by bodybuilders and athletes seeking to improve physical performance and appearance. Long-term misuse can lead to serious health risks such as heart disease, liver damage, high blood pressure, and behavioral issues like aggression.

? Due to higher levels of testosterone in individuals
who use they believe this
? I do not agree to an extent, there are many steroid
users who do not develop this; it may be due to
belief of the users that they need to be angry or set
themselves up mentally that they will
? Or taking super high doses resulting in chemical
imbalances in body to which would cause mood
swings
7. ? They do not cause the same type of high as

reinforcing which can lead to addiction
? “Studies shown that animals will self
administer steroids when given the
opportunity” – This was interesting and
surprising to learn
8. ? If given the opportunity; didn’t have to pay for
it, and monitored by a doctor would you use
