Herschel Walker was a star running back who was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2000. As a freshman at the University of Georgia in 1980, he helped lead the team to a national championship and placed third in Heisman Trophy voting. Walker had an illustrious college career where he was an three-time All-American, won the 1982 Heisman Trophy, and set school records for career rushing yards and touchdowns. He then enjoyed a successful professional career playing in the USFL and NFL from 1983-1996, where he amassed over 18,000 yards of total offense.
