The Pal¨¢cio do Planalto in Brazilia, Brazil is the official workplace of the President of Brazil. Construction began in 1958 and was designed by architect Oscar Niemeyer to project simplicity and modernity through curved columns and exterior structures. In addition to being the main workplace of the President, the complex includes four additional adjacent buildings.
