How Do I Find My ID# and PIN?
The Diffe rence In CAMEO (our library catalog) you may often be asked for either your: Andrew ID This is your alpha-numeric account name which you also use for Email and WebISO functions Carnegie Mellon ID This is the 9 digit number found at the bottom left of your Carnegie Mellon ID card PIN Your PIN is the last four digits of your Carnegie Mellon ID number, as mentioned above
Where They Are Needed Your ID# and/or PIN are used for several library services. These include: Library Account Management Renewing Books Requesting Checked Out Items Using E-Z Borrow (Interlibrary Loan)
To find your ID# simply take out your Carnegie Mellon ID card. At the bottom left corner you will see two numbers. Your ID# The lower 9 digit number is your ID.
For instance, the PIN here is 5678 Your PIN is made up of the last 4 digits of your ID number Your PIN
