An overview of our Tadaweb Culture
The tough, but surprisingly common path
of a successful startup
Been there and done that
We went to SF - our
users exploded.
We created the B2B,
B2C, B2B2C model
Traction wasn¡¯t as
easy as we hoped, we
lack target
We continued, but
product market ?t was
too loose
We found a niche
market who loved us,
but whose pain wasn¡¯t
sore enough
We found a market
with a massive pain, a
big budget and a love
of our technology
Second Massive
Customer
Lot¡¯s of massive
customers
You are the founding members of this company
As we grow, expand and eventually conquer the world
we need to ensure we remain who we are
So What Makes Up our Tada DNA?
? Our values and diversity
? Our mentality
? Our view of success
Our Values
(aka. The things that we actually do and believe,
not fake cr*p that looks good on paper but is
meaningless in reality)
Like this¡
Founded: 1960
Revenue: 17.36 billion USD (2011)
Net income: 1.733 billion USD (2011)
Operating income: 2.119 billion USD (2011)

Leo Dennis Kozlowski, a former CEO of
Tyco International, convicted in 2005 of
crimes related to his receipt of $81
million in unauthorised bonuses, the
purchase of art for $14.725 million and
the payment by Tyco of a $20 million
investment banking fee to Frank
Walsh, a former Tyco director.
He served more than six years at the Mid-
State Correctional Facility in Marcy, New
York before being transferred to the
Lincoln Correctional Facility in New York
City, from which he was granted
conditional release on January 17, 2014
At Tada, there are things as a
team we value
Our values are not dictated, but rather come
naturally as a result of a respectful, creative
and innovative culture.
We are all responsible for our own values
We respect each other
Everyone needs to feel as though their voice will be heard
We embrace diversity
Already nearly 10 cultures, two sexes, 10 languages and a range in age
from 24 to 50¡
We embrace diversity
Already nearly 10 cultures, two sexes and a range in age from 24 to 44¡
Coolest culture
We are creative in what we do
We use our youth, innovative spirit and fresh outlook to disrupt the status quo
We care about each other
We genuinely care for each
member of our team and want
the best for them
(See - we buy beer)
We understand the importance of fun together
The work hard play hard mentality is alive and well
We learn from our mistakes, or more lessons learnt
Above all, we don¡¯t deny we have made them and try not to fuck up again
We are passionate about what we are building
This passion is illustrated in our dedication, in our early mornings, in the
weekends and late nights - thank you
We are honest and moral
In all situations we try and do what we believe to be right and fair
I know what you are thinking¡ This is all getting way too
¡°Miss Universe¡±
But it¡¯s important, because they are there
What Mentality do all these Values help Build?
the HACKER mentality
On a side note,
in reality¡ most
of the great
hackers I know
actually look
more like this
Or this¡
Hackers are challenge seeking. If someone says it can¡¯t be
done, they do it.
Anyway¡
Because of this, this mentality involves the constant seeking
of knowledge
(after all you can only break something properly if you know
exactly how it works in the ?rst place)
Hackers thrive when given freedom, so we try and let you guys
choose your own way doing things
We are driven by ¡°creating the impossible¡±
So our values drive how we interact and grow as a team
Our mentality shapes the way we build our product and company
But why are we doing this and why does it matter?
As the founding team of this company¡
¡.it¡¯s your job to keep Tada, Tada.
So right now I challenge you all¡.
To leave your mark.
Teach the new and above all stick up for what is Tada.
Now go and drink a beer.
Never let Tada lose beer.
