Adding quotation marks around search phrases reduces the number of search results by searching for the exact phrase rather than individual words. For example, searching for "flower arrangements" returns fewer results than just flower arrangements because it only matches pages containing that exact phrase. Using quotation marks provides a more targeted search and ensures the results contain the full phrase being searched.
