This document outlines Khairul Rusydi's experiences and philosophy. It details his involvement in various organizations from 2005-2012 such as the National Cadet Corp and Entrepreneurship Club. In 2009, he received an award from the President. He started a company as part of his entrepreneurship course and attended many startup events. Currently, he founded organizations in Singapore called Circle of Punks and REActor that expose students to entrepreneurship and have trained over 100 students and sent over 60 to internships. His philosophy focuses on taking action, not making excuses, and surrounding oneself with positive people.

4. 2009But in 2009, I received the full-time
national serviceman of the year
award from the President.
20. I started Circle of Punks
in Singapore, which is a support
community for young co-founders.
22. And I founded REActor
The Raffles Entrepreneurship Academy,
which is the academy at my high school that exposes students to
start-ups and entrepreneurship in the hope that they too, would
go on to solve some of the worlds most pressing problems.
23. We have a team of 12 thats helping to redefine the
entrepreneurship education system here in Singapore.
24. Weve trained over a hundred students in entrepreneurship
concepts, from lean methodology to customer development.
And these students are 17 years old.
25. Weve sent over 60 youths to intern in various
start-ups, including tech and social enterprise.
The average age of the students is 19.
27. Weve run 4 roundtable events
where we get students to interact
with alumni and bounce ideas
and solve problems.
28. And were currently helping to consult
for a number of Israeli tech start-ups as
part of the Innovation Immersion
Programme together with University of
Illinois Urbana Champagne.
