Jesus Hernandez began an internship at the Gary Gilchrist Golf Academy in May 2014 as their Communications Intern. As his supervisor observed, Jesus took on many responsibilities beyond what is typical for an intern and made significant daily contributions through new ideas that showed initiative, creativity, and passion. Jesus also demonstrated an openness to feedback to improve his skills and the company's processes, such as learning golf, enhancing his photography skills, and transforming the newsletter into an online magazine.

To whom it may concern    I am writing to recommend Jesus Hernandez. Jesus is currently our Communications Intern and  began his work at GGGA in May 2014.    Jesus’ internship at the Gary Gilchrist Golf Academy was not the typical internship, nor was  Jesus the typical intern. As his supervisor, I have spent a great amount of time collaborating,  brainstorming and working very closely with Jesus. Not only has he completed the projects and  daily responsibilities asked, he has brought about many new ideas and shown initiative, creativity  and passion on many occasions. Jesus had many responsibilities that interns don’t commonly  have and made significant contributions on a daily basis.    No matter the role, Jesus has the intangible quality to succeed and contribute beyond his skill set  or even responsibility. He is very open to constructive feedback and is always looking for ways to  improve his skills or company process and procedure.    Examples include his willingness to learn the game of golf, hone his photography and photo  editing skills by reading the 300+ page Photoshop manual, creating new social media  campaigns, taking our newsletter from being a three­page pdf and turning it into an online  magazine.     I would be more than happy to provide further detail if contacted. Please feel free to reach me at  willp@ggga.com.     Regards,    William Perry  Director of Sales & Marketing  Gary Gilchrist Golf Academy
