  1. Our library developed a Social Media plan to help guide our activity in social media communities.
  2. A component of this plan was to specify our target audience
  3. We looked at how these tools interacted with one another because we wanted to make our message fit the medium
  4. Initially we wanted to have one person from each department participate as social coordinators.Two people were designated to manage the account so that if one went on vacation their would be a break in activity in the environment. Especially in environments such as twitter where timeliness is hugely important.
