YoumanitY is a smartphone app and fair marketing research supplier that benefits both companies and users. Companies purchase accurate and affordable surveys from YoumanitY, with 25% of revenues donated to charities. Users download the app and donate their time by answering surveys on public transport. A percentage of the company's contract is then given to humanitarian organizations chosen by the user, allowing users to donate to charity without spending their own money.
A low-fidelity prototype was created for the user-facing part of the YoumanitY app. The prototype includes pages for information about the app, registration, login, describing what a user can accomplish in 10 minutes by taking a survey, an example survey page, a page
2. What is YoumanitY ?
YoumanitY is a fair marketing research supplier and a Smartphone
app, which includes two main actors in its process: Companies and
users.
On the one hand, YoumanitY sells accurate and cheap surveys to
companies and shares a percentage of the profit with charities (25%
of revenues are donated). This is what makes us different from
traditional marketing research suppliers.
On the other hand, Youmanity is a Smartphone application which
allows its users (the panel) to donate their time (while they are in the
bus or the metro for instance) to a cause, to give money to
humanitarian organizations. Each user will then, through his
answers, give a percentage of the contract with the company that
controls the survey, to humanitarian help. So users can give to
humanitarian organizations without touching their own wallet. That is
a huge number. I dont see how you will be able to pull that
off, especially if youre saying you are lower price, which means less
revenue per survey. If you look at other campaigns where companies
donate a portion of revenue it is usually 1-2%.

3. Here is my low fidelity prototype for the
users. I created the prototype on .xap for
this sketch.
Enclosed to each page of the
prototype, youll find some information
about the functionality.
