3. SITE CONDITION
Generally flat. All earthwork, site clearance, external infrastructure works have
already completed by others.
13. FORM OF CONTRACT
PAM Contract 2006 with Quantities
Under the terms and conditions of the PAM Standard Form contract 2006,
both the employer and contractor form the contractual parties to the
contract.
To ensure that the Contract is administered fairly between both
Contractual Parties, PAM Contract 2006 places the administration under
third party, namely the Architect.
14. Reasons of using PAM contract 2006 with Quantities
Quality and Quantity of works
Under clause 12, where PAM with quantities mentions that Contract Bills
form the basis for quantity of the works while PAM without quantities
mentions that the Contract Sum is derived from the contractor's own
estimate of the quantity based on Drawings and Specifications.
To ensure the performance on the quantities of works, BOQ is therefore
crucial to provide accurate and sufficient information of the project.

15. Completion of work on time
Under clause 22.1, liquidated damages and certificate of non-completion,
if the contractor fails to complete the works by the completion date and it
shall be ought to be completed in the opinion of the Architect, the architect
shall issue the certificate of non-completion.
The contractor will compensate the employer from the damages or
referred to as Liquidated Damages from the sum as a debt or from the
performance bond.
