Editor's Notes

  1. The latter figure in particular is skewed as we are noticing an increase in the Reading Room being used as a Reading Room, ie, readers who are not necessarily using our collections but want to study in a quieter environment. The RR are now recording that separately so we can disentangle that from now on. The other reason that figure is so very much increased is the availability of the Per 900 stock in the RR, which is being consulted quite heavily. Again I have asked the RR to pick those figures up by re-instating the consultation trolley system. ?
