Microsoft Courier is a rumored dual-screen tablet device from Microsoft that folds like a book. It has two 7-inch screens connected by a flexible hinge and relies entirely on touch input and handwriting recognition without a physical keyboard. The Courier runs a specialized version of Windows CE and is designed for tasks like taking notes, viewing photos, and managing contacts and schedules through core apps like an Infinite Journal and Smart Agenda. While the Courier is aimed more at productivity than entertainment like the iPad, its release was postponed and it remains unreleased.
