  1. Hello everyone, my name is Jose Simoes and I am the CEO and co-founder of Mobitto. In short, we want to change the way people consume products and services. I guess the best way to understand our idea is to look at daily problems faced by several types of business
  2. Choose any kind of merchant.. cinema, restaurant, store.. You name it! They all have something in common.. They are empty! But their problems don¡¯t end here.. We will get to them later..
  3. On the other side.. Blame the crisis or whatever, users aren¡¯t happy either.. They can¡¯t afford the things they like
  4. What if there was a way to connect the needs of both parties?
  5. Of course you have heard this before.. There are many companies solving this problem, right?
  6. I am pretty sure most of you have heard of Groupon or any of the following companies.. What I am interested to know is how many of you used (or know anyone that used) any of these services at least once? .... Nice, around 80% did.. My question now is, how many of you use it on a daily basis? No one? That¡¯s exactly the space we want to cover.. We want to be a lifestyle application that people use everyday.
  7. Getting back to the problems.. Groupon and alike services do bring costumers.. But are these the ones you want? What do you learn about them?
  8. Do they come back? How do you tackle these issues?
  9. Do they come when you need them? Or when they want to? Do they solve your slow periods or overcrowd your busiest moments?
  10. These are the problemsMobittos aims to address!
  11. But what is Mobitto all about?
  12. First, we focus on targeting.. We allow merchant to choose the users that are interesting to them (eg., female between 25-35 with more than 200 FB friends and the weather is sunny). Imagine putting an offer for people that earn more than 5000€ a month?Basically we manage all the user related context. And we do this in real time, when you actually need to attract customers (e.g., 30 min before cinema starts and the room is empty).. With our web or mobile application, this takes less than 30 seconds. On the top of that, it¡¯s flexible! As we are not involved in the transaction, merchants can insert an offer without a specific financial value.. They can simply offer a free beer or a 50% discount. Mobitto simply takes care of bringing clients to merchants.
  13. All summed up, what we are offering is a Flexible Self-service marketing platform, Although it is available from the web, our focus goes to the mobile application. Here is a video on how it works!
  14. All of this is possible because we have a great team.. You have heard the introduction by now.. It¡¯s not just us, our advisor board as the necessary experience to support us on this challenge
  15. As you have seen, although our service can be applicable to basically any industry we are focused on the entertainment one. This means, cinemas, theaters, sports events, concerts, nightlife, etc. Why? Because these industries have lots of fixed costs and the extra cost of occupying last minute sits is very low. On top of that, it provides great opportunity to up-self and cross sell these same customers. This includes, food, drinks or any kind of merchandizing.. (eg., how gets popcorn and doesn¡¯t by a drink?)
  16. And the way we want to achieve this is by partnering with the entertainment industry and ad agencies providing services to our core clients (merchant groups). To get users, we are partnering with universities by offering them our service, which will allow them to promote their daily/weekly events, manage their happy hours within their campus and sell some of their own merchandizing.
  17. Regarding the business model, we have 2 options. The first includes a pay per use model, where merchants only pay us when users go to their stores and actually buy something! The second one is based on monthly subscriptions, where merchants pay a fee based on their plan. The prices vary according tot the type of targeting, the number of dels and the number of stores being managed by each merchant.
  18. To test the idea, we launched our Facebook page which got 500 fans in just 8 days! As we are launching today, we can only talk to you about our goals. We expect 5000 registered users in the 1st month, as well as 1000 transactions. We already have 2 agreements signed up, therefore come back to us later to make sure we achieved our goals ?
