Orange provides an integrated ecosystem for intelligent buildings and workspaces, including sensors, networks, cloud storage, data analytics, and intelligence at the building and city level. This enables improved operational efficiencies and outcomes for asset owners, operators, tenants, and customers across the entire asset lifecycle. Orange is developing smart city and smart building programs globally, leveraging partners and deploying solutions at city-scale across France and large developments in Dubai and India. The solutions centralize building and city data, apply analytics for insights, and optimize processes for improved services, efficiency, and experiences.

OBS_Built Environment & City Program Overview (Final)
1. Intelligent Buildings, Workspaces & Workplaces
Page 1
Our Value:
Orange uniquely provides a fully-
integrated ecosystem from the
sensor and network, to the cloud
storage & big-data analytics and
lastly city and building asset level
intelligence, delivering the visibility
required to transform city and built
environments operationally whilst
enabling improved efficiencies,
securely and at-scale globally.
Most importantly we identify opportunities for technology to improve
outcomes for the public & private asset owners, operators, tenants
and customers across the entire asset lifecycle.
Preamble:
As an overview of Orange¨s global smart city and smart building
program we are currently developing a range of City-Scale and
Country-Wide IoT programs impacting the greater city ecosystem
stretching across the smart city domains of built environment, utility
& grid, transportation, healthcare, retail, public and critical national
infrastructure.
Scale of Developments:
With City and Country-Scale developments and programs ongoing
across France, the Middle-east and other locales internationally, we
leverage ecosystem partners with specific domain focus to expand
our value proposition.
2. Intelligent Buildings, Workspaces & Workplaces
Page 2
This proposition is currently being rolled-out across existing brown-
field cities across France, massive-scale green-field sites across the
Middle-East including Dubai and within the Delhi-Mumbai Industrial
Corridor (DMIC) development regions.
City as a Service:
Next generation ^City as a Service ̄ solutions are underpinned by our
ongoing investment in R&D, start-ups and technology incubation
programs in addition to close interlocks with our supporting global
technology vendors. This has enabled rapid prototyping and
development of concepts underpinned by city and nation-wide
telecom grade hybrid LTE and radio-frequency low-power sensor
networks (LoRa).
Further with the now burgeoning scale of deployment of fixed and
mobile sensors providing ever-new sources of data, new challenges
to store, process, analyse and secure such volumes of data have
arisen.
3. Intelligent Buildings, Workspaces & Workplaces
Page 3
Orange today leverages continuing global investments in cloud and
sub-sea optical network capacity to ingest such IoT / city data flows.
Further these ^Data-Lakes ̄ hosted in secure private Orange Cloud
facilities now enable both real-time stream and historical data
analytics of structured and unstructured data.
In-order to make sense of this
data, we partner with domain
specialists to enable real-time
business domain visualization and
identification leading to the
creation of insights enabling
business process improvements,
building efficiency optimization and
predictive incident mitigation that
now enable streamlined delivery of
services by municipal, building and city operators and ultimately the
improvement of user and customer experiences.
Building Lifecycle Management:
With the traditional commercial and contracted approaches to asset
planning, building, commissioning and operating, each separate
entity incorporates costs and manpower to deliver contractual scope
in isolation to the others. This siloed approach results in significant
losses in efficiency, quality and schedule with delays due to re-work
and inefficiency in the asset delivery lifecycle.
Orange with its city and building domain partners, is now delivering
an ^Industry Transformational ̄ solution that integrates the
^Construction to Operations ̄ (C2O) lifecycle.
This solution from one perspective transitions building
documentation from CAD based format to one that¨s universally
accessible and transforms the building documentation management

environment.
The C2O concept and ^iViva ̄ software platform apart from digitalizing
the documents describing the asset, also integrates what have been
traditionally siloed Operational Technology (OT) systems from a
multitude of vendors.
The C2O ^iViva iBMS as a Service ̄ platform enables a ^Plan to Run ̄
workflow and operations platform enabling a new approach to asset
lifecycle management.
This enables streamlined workflows, documentation processes and
head-end OT system integration to a centralized iViva platform
supporting the lifecycle domains of plan, build, commission &
operate. The result is up-to 30% improvement in project to
operations efficiency with reduction in man-hours through the
delivery process resulting from a single-source of design, build and
commissioning plans, drawings, asset / element data and so-forth.
Building Innovation & Integration:
Leveraging this C2O integrated, innovative and applications centric
approach, enables
building and city
development and
operation lifecycle
optimization.
Leveraging vertically
integrated capabilities and
partner solutions across
the `Building Management
Systems ̄ and IoT
domains, Orange
converges and automates
what are currently
traditional silo¨ed services.
