Some tips for locating sources for research papers to help classmates are in various places. I would tell them to first start with the library. If accuracy is concerned, the library has many sources that are more accurate as compared to something such as Wikipedia. Depending upon the research paper size, a number of sources can be used, but the main goal must be the use of sources, which will be very much authoritative (Ghiani et al., 2014). Now, for finding sources, which are authoritative, most of these sources are cited by other sources. Another place to check is Google Scholar. It would be much better if the trail of citations is followed to the primary sources. After finding all reputable sources, this can help in explaining the topic. It is essential to get sources, which are behind the sources for your research paper. This can be considered as an area for having a real opportunity in setting the research paper apart from other classmates. There must be at least one source per page of the research paper. Focused knowledge provides a greater depth of knowledge as well as an understanding of any given subject (Dong et al., 2017). By possessing a working knowledge of any particular subject and along with such an increased knowledge of that particular subject through focused research, will help in arriving at a deep understanding of the subject. Focused knowledge is considered a product of smart research and it is also useful in utilizing time efficiently (Jensen, 2014). Such focused research may challenge several ideas which are preconceived and back those up or rather force the individual in altering his/ her perspective on that subject. Focused knowledge is mainly narrow and mostly restricts itself to a particular topic or subject.
This kind of knowledge can be developed by searching the sources which are the best. Anyone who is looking up any particular topic must know what he/ she is actually looking for and how that individual is going to utilize it within the research paper (Masuda et al., 2014). They must also see if the chosen source is credible or not and after checking he or she must find the first source instead of the second one. Therefore, for obtaining the best research paper possible, particular questions which are to be answered that will help in writing the research paper must be ensured.

Human beings are viewed as unique life experiences. My personal philosophy of the advanced practice nurse is one who is compassionate, empathetic, well-rounded both in education and life experience. Communication, in abstract patterns, are just one of the aspects of an individually high level of complexity, as well as diversity, which sum up to further advance the knowledge of self and environment (Metaparadigm Concepts, 2014). It is important, not just for advanced practice nurses, but all nurses, to understand the value of every human being and to respect their decisions regarding their own health as well as providing appropriate guidance and coaching to live a healthy and full life.

Included in the metaparadigm concepts, involvement are the areas of nursing, person, health, and the environment, thus they further comprise the advanced-practice nurse (APN) and the concepts are as follows:
Nursing: when speaking in terms of nursing we look at what we do as nurses which includes our actions as well as interventions. This involves applying our professional knowledge already gained as well as direct and indirect patient contact (Thompson, 2017).
Person: involving family and close friends, including other caretakers for a patient, and that a nurse is engaged in the care of the patient across the lifespan (Thompson, 2017).
Health: this can be a relative term to each person as an individual and it is based on the patients perspective and understanding that each person has a different perspective, or idea, of healthy versus not healthy (Thompson, 2017).
Environment: can be any number of things which can include internal and external factors which can have an impact on a persons health and this could include, but not limited to things such as genetics, culture, relationships, geographical location, etc., (Thompson, 2017).

Critical thinking skills, current research which translate into knowledge and skills into the nursing profession and thus must be goal-oriented, deliberate and systematic. Understanding that each person is an individual, we need to treat them as such and take into consideration the environment from which they come from as well as their understanding of their own health and what is healthy and what they perceive as being healthy versus unhealthy. Week One
New Practice Approaches
The writer and the mentor choose this topic on the first week since the writer was explaining to the mentor what the project was on, how the mentor can help and most important how the writer was planning to execute it. The health care system is changing every day for that reason all individuals that work on it need to keep their mind open for constant change. The writer had work on the medical field for a couple years and even that is just a couple she/he already see the change. This conversation gives the writer and the mentor the idea of going around and asking nurses what was the most drastic change that they have seen in their carriers. The writer notice that most nurses had said that doctors are starting to respect the work they do for the patients but unfortunately the patients and their family members had lost the respect for them. When the writer heard that she/he realized that the topic she chooses is perfect and they need to create a new approached for this problem.
Week Two
Interprofessional Collaboration
The writer had the opportunity to observe a code gray which is when a patient gets violent towards the staff members. The patient was an alcoholic and had stop drinking two days ago. He was confused and acting irrational, he was saying things like you people have me here against my weal you guys want to kill me etc. This patient tries to punch one of the nurses and she yelled for help and the code gray was call. All male nurses and security personnel attend to the code and try to calm the patient down. he was given some medication and was put on restrains. The hospital security guards stay with the nurse until the patient calm down. I was surprise on seen how they all collaborated with this horrible situation and got the patient to calm down and prevent for that nurse not to get hurt. In this topic Interprofessional collaboration is the mayor key, everyone must help and try to learn how to manage these situations. Also, we must work together so management see that there is a problem that needs to be fix. If that nurse would it have the proper training, she could it got hurt and force to go out of the job as.

Human beings are viewed as unique life experiences. My personal philosophy of the advanced practice nurse is one who is compassionate, empathetic, well-rounded both in education and life experience. Communication, in abstract patterns, are just one of the aspects of an individually high level of complexity, as well as diversity, which sum up to further advance the knowledge of self and environment (Metaparadigm Concepts, 2014). It is important, not just for advanced practice nurses, but all nurses, to understand the value of every human being and to respect their decisions regarding their own health as well as providing appropriate guidance and coaching to live a healthy and full life.

Included in the metaparadigm concepts, involvement are the areas of nursing, person, health, and the environment, thus they further comprise the advanced-practice nurse (APN) and the concepts are as follows:
Nursing: when speaking in terms of nursing we look at what we do as nurses which includes our actions as well as interventions. This involves applying our professional knowledge already gained as well as direct and indirect patient contact (Thompson, 2017).
Person: involving family and close friends, including other caretakers for a patient, and that a nurse is engaged in the care of the patient across the lifespan (Thompson, 2017).
Health: this can be a relative term to each person as an individual and it is based on the patients perspective and understanding that each person has a different perspective, or idea, of healthy versus not healthy (Thompson, 2017).
Environment: can be any number of things which can include internal and external factors which can have an impact on a persons health and this could include, but not limited to things such as genetics, culture, relationships, geographical location, etc., (Thompson, 2017).

Week One
New Practice Approaches
The writer and the mentor choose this topic on the first week since the writer was explaining to the mentor what the project was on, how the mentor can help and most important how the writer was planning to execute it. The health care system is changing every day for that reason all individuals that work on it need to keep their mind open for constant change. The writer had work on the medical field for a couple years and even that is just a couple she/he already see the change. This conversation gives the writer and the mentor the idea of going around and asking nurses what was the most drastic change that they have seen in their carriers. The writer notice that most nurses had said that doctors are starting to respect the work they do for the patients but unfortunately the patients and their family members had lost the respect for them. When the writer heard that she/he realized that the topic she chooses is perfect and they need to create a new approached for this problem.
Week Two
Interprofessional Collaboration
The writer had the opportunity to observe a code gray which is when a patient gets violent towards the staff members. The patient was an alcoholic and had stop drinking two days ago. He was confused and acting irrational, he was saying things like you people have me here against my weal you guys want to kill me etc. This patient tries to punch one of the nurses and she yelled for help and the code gray was call. All male nurses and security personnel attend to the code and try to calm the patient down. he was given some medication and was put on restrains. The hospital security guards stay with the nurse until the patient calm down. I was surprise on seen how they all collaborated with this horrible situation and got the patient to calm down and prevent for that nurse not to get hurt. In this topic Interprofessional collaboration is the mayor key, everyone must help and try to learn how to manage these situations. Also, we must work together so management see that there is a problem that needs to be fix. If that nurse would it have the proper training, she could it got hurt and force to go out of the job as.
