Presentation is the final trait of effective writing. It refers to the finished look of a piece of writing when it is ready to be shared. Elements of good presentation include uniform spacing, legible handwriting or font choices, appealing use of white space, and effective integration of visual elements like illustrations, photos, charts and graphs. Good presentation is important because even if a piece has strong ideas, organization, word choice and mechanics, it will not be inviting to read if the presentation is poor. The document provides examples of how presentation is used effectively in environmental print and literature.

Presentation In informal writing, presentation is not imperative. However, all published writers are aware of the importance of presentation, particularly technical writers who must include graphs, maps, symbols, and visual instructions along with their text.
Ways to practice the trait of Presentation: 皙Write in ways that mirror real life. (newspapers, pamphlets, websites, books of their own, brochures, newsletters, and flyers) 皙Create works for a variety of audiences. Be prepared to explain how the presentation changes depending on the audience. 皙Present your work, especially research projects. Include PowerPoint and other presentation tools to share your ideas with others. 皙These suggestions use higher levels of Blooms taxonomy; they are also meaningful and engaging.
