What is iso 9000
 ISO stands for international organisation
 standrads.
 it focuses on quality.
It is the foundation for strong,solid operation.
Industries were first introduced with it in
 1988.
Who uses iso 9000
 it covers all type of products.
 hardware machine tools etc.
Software machine ,methods, process etc.
Services--delivery,marketing.
When to comply iso and why?

when customer puts it into contract or reuires
 it to conduct business with your
  organisation.

Why impliment iso? it will improve quality and
 productivity and it is the standrad for quality
 management system.
Standrads series of iso 9000
 the iso series is generic in scope.
 in very simplified terms the standrad requires
an organisation to say what it is doing for
quality.
Iso seriess purpose to unify the quality.

1. Iso 9000:2000
2. Iso 9001:2000
3. Iso 9004:2000
Iso 9000:2000
 this standrad of quality describes the
  fundamental of quality management system.
 It is beneficiary for the organisation who seeks
  to have advantage through the
  implimentation of quality system.
 And also for the org. seeking confidence from
  the supplier that their product will satisfy the
  customer.
Iso 9001:2000
. It is moslt used by the organisation who aims
   to enhance customer satisfaction through the
   effctive aplication system and assurance its
   conformity to customer.
Iso 9004:2000
 this international standrad provide guideline
  for org. for performance improvement.the
  mail aim of this standrad is to satisfy the
  customer.
Documentation of iso 9000 include the
        following function
 ISO 9000 documentation includes procedures to
  control quality documents in your company.
  Everyone must have access to up-to-date
  documents and be aware of how to use them.
 To maintain the quality system and produce
  conforming product, ISO 9000 documentation
  must provide suitable infrastructure, resources,
  information, equipment, measuring and
  monitoring devices, and environmental
  conditions.
Documentaion..
 You need to map out all key processes in your
  company; control them by monitoring,
  measurement and analysis; and ensure that
  product quality objectives are met. If you cant
  monitor a process by measurement, then
  make sure the process is well enough defined
  that you can make adjustments if the product
  does not meet user needs.

Criticism of iso 9000
 A common criticism of ISO 9000 and 9001 is
  the amount of money, time, and paperwork
  required for registration.
   The standard is seen as especially prone to
  failure when a company is interested in
  certification before quality.
