The document describes a project to create a web and mobile application to notify consumers in Islamabad about water supply timings. The project was presented at a Water and Sanitation Hackathon. The proposed solution would allow consumers to subscribe and receive notifications by mobile phone of scheduled water cuts. It was designed using HTML pages with plans to develop it further using .NET and build databases and SMS notification functionality to integrate with relevant water authorities and benefit consumers.
