  • 2. Along Reke Fault zone several minor leads are found at Upper Jurassic level. There are also poten,al within Palaeocene and Upper Cretaceous sec,on within previous APA 2006 acreage east of Block 7/8. Main risks associated with these leads are source and trap integrity. Explora,on well 8/10-足1 was drilled on a gentle salt dome structure about 12 km west of the Ula Field on the S淡rvestlandet High. The objec, ves were to test Ter,ary and Mesozoic horizons. More speci鍖cally, the well should test the Ter,ary Miocene sec,on equivalent to the gas-足bearing sand sec,on in well 2/3-足1 (35 miles southeast), Eocene sands which had minor gas shows in well 7/8-足1 (25 miles northwest) and with oil shows in the Shell 1/3-足1, Palaeocene sands produc,ve in the Cod Field (25 miles east), fractured Upper Cretaceous limestone with condensate and gas shows in well 1/3-足1 (20 miles southwest), and Jurassic and Triassic sands that were very porous and permeable in well 7/8-足1. The laaer also had small shows in wells 7/8-足1 and 9/4-足1 (50 miles northwest). We therefore believe there are poten,al lee in Palaeocene sec,on as well as other stra, graphic levels in Ter,ary sec,on. Both a structural and stra, graphic lead can be iden,鍖ed within Block 8/10 as well as a structural trap at Jurassic level. Main risks are both trap integrity as well as source for these leads/traps. Salt related traps are in need of beaer seismic imaging, and therefore good seismic quality is cri,cal for these trap types. We judge Blocks 7/9 and 8/7 to have poten,al for salt induced associated traps within Palaeocene as well as at Jurassic level. Several traps have been iden,鍖ed and in excess of 5 leads have been iden,鍖ed within these 2 blocks. Within Block 7/2 there are several plays within Upper Cretaceous and Lower Palaeocene levels. These plays have been presented in previous concession works performed by Valioso Ltd. Valioso Ltd has iden,鍖ed poten,al leads with volumes in Place ranging from 5-足45 MSm3 for these traps.
