Report reviews of Ergonomics for compact sedan
The field of ergonomics is a vast and complex study, across various industry verticals, which deals with the relationship of Objective measurements with Subjective observations. This report deals with the ergonomic process and techniques used in the automotive industry. The information and data in this report have been compiled from various books and papers published in the field of Automotive Ergonomics. Some of the data, which were conducted during the internship period, have been omitted from this report. The related data is classified as Confidential by Engineering Research Centre, TATA MOTORS LIMITED. Such information cannot be disclosed by the author, protected under the Non-Disclosure Agreement of Engineering Research Centre, TATA MOTORS LIMITED. The report on “Futuring for Accommodation & Usage in Passenger Vehicle” focuses on Vehicle Ergonomics and Packaging for Compact Sedans (i.e. sedans under four meters), and the various ergonomic considerations when designing the vehicle. The research work done was used to improve the ergonomics of the compact sedan segment through Futuring technique.
