Introduction Overview This Add-in enables a seamless and contextual experience to access commonly used 際際滷Share (http://www.slideshare.net) services from within Microsoft PowerPoint 2007. You can do the following by using the actions surfaced in the PowerPoint Ribbon: Open and view your presentations that are hosted on 際際滷Share Upload new presentations to 際際滷Share Manage your presentations by updating their metadata on 際際滷Share Browse & open presentations related to a presentation being viewed Search for and open/view presentations published on 際際滷Share by your contacts, groups, and other 際際滷Share users See statistics on how your slideshows are viewed and used System Requirements 際際滷Share Ribbon for Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2007 is designed to run on the following operating systems: Windows XP SP2 Windows Vista RTM (all editions) Windows Vista SP1 (all editions) Before you can install the add-in, the following software must be installed: Microsoft Office 2007 (http://office.microsoft.com), which is the most recent Windows version of the Microsoft Office system. Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 Service Pack 1 (http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=118076), which is a full cumulative update that contains many new features building incrementally upon .NET Framework 2.0, 3.0, 3.5, and includes cumulative servicing updates to the .NET Framework 2.0 and .NET Framework 3.0 subcomponents Introduction 4
際際滷Share Ribbon for Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2007 Setup This section provides information on the installation of 際際滷Share Ribbon for Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2007 setup. To install 際際滷Share Ribbon for Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2007, 1. Launch the setup from 際際滷Share Setup site (http://downloads.slideshare.net/msft/1/setup.exe). When asked to Run or Save the application, choose Run. This will initiate the download of setup file from 際際滷Share server. 4. The setup will install the missing pre-requisites. Visual Studio Tools for the Office (VSTO) system Runtime Service Pack 1 will be the first pre-requisite that gets installed (if not present already on your machine). 6. Once the required files are downloaded, the installation of VSTO SP1 will commence as indicated in Figures 9 & 10. If you are using Windows Vista (any edition), you may get additional security dialogs as indicated in Figures 11 & 12. Click Continue on each to proceed. 8. Post the successful installation of the missing pre-requisites, the 際際滷Share Ribbon for Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2007 will install. Click Next when you view the screen shown in Figure 14a. It will show the EULA (End User License Agreement) as shown in Figure 14b. Click I agree and proceed. 10. The Add-in will begin installing the necessary files. If you are using Windows Vista (any edition), you may be prompted to trust the add-in as shown in Figure 17. Click Allow to trust the add-in and proceed with the install. 12. To verify that the installation has been successfully installed, open PowerPoint 2007. You should see 際際滷Share as a Menu option in the Office 2007 Ribbon. Once you click the 際際滷Share menu, the 際際滷Share Ribbon for Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2007 custom ribbon buttons will appear as shown in Figure 19. 13. The Add-in when installed is pre-configured with a demo 際際滷Share account that enables you to get started with exploring the Add-in's capabilities. This account is only meant for testing purposes. Click on the Service Accounts button in the PowerPoint 2007 ribbon. This should show you the pre- configured demo 際際滷Share Account. Known Issues If your system does not have Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 Service Pack 1 (http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=118076) installed and you try installing 際際滷Share Ribbon for Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2007, you will encounter the following error window as shown in Figure 25.
