Al-Azhar 9 Islamic Junior High School is located in Bekasi, West Java, Indonesia. Each school day begins with testimony and prayer for blessing and prosperity, followed by reading from the holy Qur'an. Students do dhuha prayer once a week after Qur'an reading. The school day consists of classroom time and laboratory work. At 12:30 students gather for midday dzuhur prayer. The school also participates in programs like Peace One Day, iEARN Natural Disaster Youth Summit, musical exchanges, mangrove planting, and class projects with schools in other countries.
