Ranjay Singh gives a speech on the importance of having goals. He defines a goal as the result or achievement directed by one's efforts. Having a meaningful goal gives life direction and purpose. Without goals, people can drift aimlessly and become bored or depressed. Goals keep people busy and active, which benefits both physical and mental health. When deciding on goals, one should consider their talents and qualities, seek self-improvement, and determine the type of person they want to become. Goals can be short-term or long-term, and should be challenging but achievable. Achieving goals requires commitment, visualization, focus, and perseverance despite obstacles. Ultimately, having clear goals leads to success.

Speech have a goal
1. Good morning everybody. This is Ranjay Singh of class 12th Commerce standing before you to speak
few words on the topic Have a Goal.
Goal is where it all begins. Goal can be defined shortly as- The result or achievement towards which the
effort is directed. Every individual should have a goal. Deciding what we really want to do is crucial to
the success and happiness. A life without aim is like life without meaning and purpose. Meaning gives
the direction. Direction gives the hope of arrival of the destination. But if we are at the crossroads and
dont know where to go, one may reach any destination least expected to reach. Hence, it is necessary
for a person to have a goal. After all, our todays aim is shadows of tomorrows reality!
It is said that an idle brain is devils workshop. Without having any goal, people perish. Life becomes
dull and boring. Its not speaking about the physical death but, the death of the soul without the vision.
People loose joy and passion for the life and slip down slowly into simply breathing existing but not
living really. Such situations truly become gloomy. In order you avoid such cases; some goals must be
aimed by everyone to us. Having a goal keeps a person busy and occupied in the work. It forces his
brain to remain active which is beneficial for physical as well as mental health. Hence, goals are
needed.
Now let us come to the point that how should one decide his/her goals?
God gives us some talents and qualities and some of them have to be developed through our own
efforts. Self-Evaluation enables us to know our limitation and discover own existing potentials. Let us
direct an eye inwards and select a goal from us. Seek not to find who we are, but determine who we
want to be by having a goal in mind. Let us stop looking for the purpose we are here. Create it, by
having a clear idea of having a goal !!
Goals may be of either of two types. It could be either short term or long term goals. Best goals are those
that gives you a big smile when you think of achieving it. Then one should strive hard to reach it. After
the goal has been targeted the following points would help to fulfill it.
1. Once has to pay the price in order to alter our destiny. With commitment, doing the necessary
work bring out desired result.
2. Visualization the victory by mentally rehearsing the accomplishment of the goals.
3. Focusing, all energy and attention there.
At last I want to say that,
Remember that, The road to the success is never straight.
There is a curve called Failure, A loop called Confusion, Speed bumps called friends, Red lights
called Enemies, Caution lights called Family.
We will have flat tires called jobs but if we have a spare called Determination, an engine called
Perseverance, a driver called Will Power and a destination called Goal, we will make it to a place
called Success!
