My evaluationAryanmuradOur media product explored conventions commonly used in thriller movies such as low-key lighting, suspenseful music, and partial storylines to create shock. It represented twin brothers to relate to audiences with siblings or who sympathize with the story. As an independent small-budget movie, it would likely be distributed by an independent institution taking a smaller cut due to limited advertising. We addressed audiences by conveying the emotions of the product rather than large promotional campaigns. Through filming, we learned to properly use technology like cameras, lights, and microphones, and would feel comfortable using such equipment for future projects.
