This document provides information about the Stevenson Diplomacy Academy, a one-week program in Boston for high school students to develop their public speaking, writing, and advocacy skills through simulations and practice related to Model UN. The program runs from July 24-31 and includes daily simulations, workshops on skills like resolution writing, and social activities in Boston. Students who complete a research project will have it published and earn the title of Stevenson Youth Fellow. Applications are open until April 15.

OUR MISSION
Model UN is a tremendous analytical vehicle. We
view our students passion for their education as the
ultimate asset. The Stevenson Diplomacy Academy
will not only strengthen the skills needed to win at
Model UN competitions, but will challenge students
to be better thinkers, writers, and advocates as they
develop original thesis projects.

APPLICATION CRITERIA
All applicants must submit the online application before the
deadline. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis and once
the Academy is full, we will no longer review applications.
Strong applicants will have attended at least 3 Model UN
conferences and won awards.
Strong academic and co-curricular performance is required, as
measured by GPA, course load, and co-curricular leadership.
Applicants are encouraged to tell their original story and
explain why they should be admitted.
