1. Survival of the Fittest
By Donal, Rachel(s) and Aidan.
A game of health, fitness and smartness.
2. The Game
The rules were kept simple
Answer questions right to gain a muscle
Answer a question wrong and face a
punishment
Punishments dont earn you anything.
To win just be first to get every muscle
on the board.
3. The initial playtest
We learned a lot from the playtest. . .
1. Our punishments werent very inclusive and
inviting to people to get active
2. We ran short of health and food questions
3. The actual board needed to include body
parts that could be easily put on aswell as
removed.
4. Changes
The punishments.
Do the plank position til you answer your next
question
Jumping Jacks
Yoga poses
Dance to a song
Carry someone on your back til your next
question
5. Changes
This made the game more interactive and we
found people enjoyed it more.
2nd Change
We raised the amount of questions from 15 to
30 which left us with enough
Multiple choice gave people a better choice
6. Changes
Chance cards also came into effect which
meant people could rip off other peoples
muscles if they got a question right
The look of the board was changed to
incorporate the body parts (vell crow added
etc.)
7. Finally ..
A suggestion by one of the masters students
to include alcohol in the game.
The playtest helped us see the problems in
our game and make chances to enhance its
quality.
