Educators at Isikhokelo Primary School in South Africa received training on using Talking Stories laptop programs to teach children without using mice. The children learned to clean through stories on the laptops and were then able to complete related worksheets independently with the help of the sound-based laptop instructions. One week later, the children did not want to leave school at the end of the day because they were having so much fun learning to read with the Talking Stories programs.
