This document provides instructions for making a thaumatrope, which is an early optical toy. The thaumatrope tutorial •What do you need ?  1 sheet of paper  A glue  A pair of scissors  A compass  A thin stick  A pen/color pens
First step Take your paper and cut 2 same circles.
Second step Draw something simple on a sheet of paper and draw it again in each circle, but broken down it into 2 parts.
Third step Take your stick and place it between your circles. Then stick both disks and don’t forget to put the stick through them.
Fourth step You can color your drawing to make it more beautiful and then place the stick between your hands, rub them and watch what’s happening…
