If you want to reach a state of bliss, then go beyond your ego and the internal dialogue… Make a decision to relinquish the need to control, the need to be approved, and the need to judge… Those are the three things the ego is doing all the time. It's very important to be aware of them every time they come up… The secret of attraction is to love yourself. Those who feel they are attractive judge neither themselves nor others… They are open to gestures of love. They think about love, and express their love in every action… They know that love is not a mere sentiment, but the ultimate truth at the heart of the universe… We have been chosen to carry the message of recovery to the still suffering alcoholic. This is our duty as we recover from the disease of alcoholism... We were once powerless over alcohol, but once recovered we become very, very powerful people... As we go through the transformation from the sickness to the solution, we begin to fully understand that we change drastically from hopeless to capable... We gain hope from hopeless, power from powerless, and we gain strength... We are like the butterfly that breaks out of the chrysalis to fly away as a beautiful creature... Scientists have proved that testing done on the butterfly and the chrysalis shows no DNA match whatsoever... Its as if they were two different creatures… That’s how we become when we recover from the disease, we have no resemblance to the person we were... Total transformation will take place, and already has started to… We alcoholics/addicts have chosen to believe the book of alcoholics anonymous, that this is our basic text and therefore we should not deviate from the book... The book tells us we can solve the drink problem, we find a solution to permanent recovery… As we travel on the book study more will be revealed... As you draw closer to God more will be revealed… Thank you for joining us on our road of happy destiny… You are now building the foundations for the archway of which you will pass through a free man/woman… We need to make sure the foundations are solid, and then we build a strong archway… We uncover, discover and discard…. We are Honest, Open minded and willing. You are recovering from your disease, so be proud, walk tall and say little… Be confident you are doing whets right in God’s eyes... If He is for us, who can be against us? God bless you, and keep you strong on this short but vital journey... This is the story of millions of men and women who have recovered from the disease and now choose to live in the solution... Who want their lives back, who deserve their life back!
